There is no site-wide membership. Each community sets its own monthly price, and you see it in full on the community page before you join anything.

Open Communities, pick the one you want and press Join. As soon as the first payment goes through, the lessons, the discussion and the assignments all open up.

Yes. Cancel from your account at any time and you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee.

Nothing expires and nothing is marked late. The lessons stay in order, the discussion stays open, and you pick up where you left off.

Communities award badges for what you complete inside them. These are a record of real participation and practice, not an accredited qualification.

You earn points for finishing lessons, clearing modules, passing assignments and taking part in the discussion. Everything pays once, and the two things you can repeat have a monthly ceiling. The full list is on How points work.

Every tutor applies with proof of real experience in the field they want to teach. Skillit team reviews that history, meets them, and checks their first community plan before it goes live.

If a tutor needs to close a community, nothing is taken from you. It stops taking new members, everyone already inside keeps access for a further month, and no renewal is charged. You are told as soon as the date is set, so there is time to pick your next one from Communities.

Please tell us. There is an Ask for a subject form on the Communities page, and we keep everything that comes through it. It is the first place we look when we go out to find new tutors.

If you know a subject well enough to teach it, apply through Become a tutor. Once you are approved you build your community and set your own price, and we handle the payments and the payouts.
